How can I search for a hotel filtered by my preferences?
Hotel listings can be customized to show only the results you want.
Sort by
You can sort by price, distance, and recommendation. Preferred and recommended hotels are prioritized while sorting by price ascending.
Select the sort field by clicking the "Sort by" menu and making your selection.
Filter
The filter options are on the left. You can filter the results by any of the fields shown below:
With the "View on map" option, at the top, you can display all the hotels on a map and see immediately how close the hotel is to your desired address.
If you are looking for a specific hotel or a specific hotel chain, you can enter the name in the search field.
With the distance filter, the maximum distance can be defined via a scale.
The price range filter provides a scale on which you can specify the minimum and maximum nightly rate. The range shown is based on the actual lowest and highest price in the results. Slide one of the endpoints in/out to narrow/expand the area.
The other filter options offer you the opportunity to narrow down your needs even further by ticking or unchecking them in order to find the perfect hotel for you. You can select certain star categories, the payment method or desired hotel facilities.
Why is a credit card required for hotel bookings?
If you want to pay the hotel on site, the hotel needs a credit card as a guarantee. This means that the room will be held for you even if you arrive late, and if you do not show up and do not cancel, the hotel has the option of charging you for the costs incurred.
You can pay on site with a payment method of your choice, this does not have to be the credit card that was used as a guarantee.
How do I cancel my room?
The cancellation process is the same both in the Trip Cart (before booking) and after the booking has been made. You go over the trash can symbol if you want to cancel individual services or over the three dots if you want to cancel the entire trip.
If a booked service is cancelled, you will receive a confirmation email after successful cancellation.
How do I extend my hotel stay?
The system does not allow you to extend your stay. The easiest way is to cancel (if possible) the currently booked trip and make a new booking with an extended stay. If this is not possible because the rate cannot be canceled or the hotel is already overbooked, the additional nights can be booked separately. However, there is a risk that the room will have to be changed during the stay.
How do I book for multiple people?
One guest is displayed by default. If you have not yet added all passengers, you can set the number of guests using the drop-down menu. The number of passenger icons at the top center of the screen will update based on the number of guests you have selected.
By default, there is one guest per room, specified by the room assignment value. Like most settings, the room assignment can be overridden using the dropdown list.
Please note: A maximum of five travelers are allowed per booking. If more are needed, you can create additional trips!
