How do I designate a temporary approver?

Temporary Approvers

Depending on your organization's settings, a temporary approver may be appointed by the approver, otherwise an administrator must appoint the temporary approver. To designate a temporary approver:

 

1. In Private Mode, go to Settings.

 

2. Click the Approval tab.


3. Click Add temporary approver.  Under Organization is a list of organizations for which you are approvers. Most approvers have only one choice. Select the one for which you want to set a temporary approver.

 

4. The next step is to select who will be the temporary approver. Click Temporary Approver and a list of all available users will be displayed. It is also possible to search for a specific user. Finish the process by clicking Add.

 

5. The final step is to set the start and end dates for the temporary approver. To do this, use the stored calendar and save your entry.


6. Now you can see a list of temporary approvers and the enabled period.

 

7. If you want to remove a temporary approver, just click on the trash can on the right.
