You now need a biometric passport, also known as an e-passport, for many worldwide destinations.
And again and again travelers ask themselves when they have to enter the passport number: Is that the letter "O" or the number "0"?
It's very simple, because for passport serial number only digits 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 and letters C, F, G, H, J, K, L, M, N, P, R, T, V, W, X, Y, and Z allowed. So it is never the letter "O", but always the number "0".
